Description

The Reference Saturn is our range topping XLR interconnect perfectly at home in the most revealing of systems. It is designed and assembled with great attention to detail for outstanding detail retrieval, electrical connectivity, durability and of course, superlative finish.  The Saturn XLR only uses the highest quality components and delivers outstanding performance. Signal integrity is maintained allowing the finest of nuances to be captured and conveyed without hindrance.  Noise floor is kept as low as the system is capable of delivering allowing great dynamic response and full bandwidth. Features

  • Beryllium copper and phosphor bronze α (Alpha) Conductor with Copper alloy body and fluoropolymer insulation ensures ultimate conductivity whilst providing low capacitance insulation between signal conductors and the plug main body
  • Excellent wear and tarnish resistance
  • Carbon fibre and nonmagnetic stainless steel shielded body
  • Specially designed cable clamp ensures cable stability
  • Furutech Hyper-balanced μOFC twin conductor (80pcs 0.18mm), double shielded in cotton spacer/damping. Superb quality ultra pure conductors treated with Furutech’s Alpha process. The cotton spacer not only helps to keep capacitance low but it also provides excellent damping to eliminate microphonic issues
  • polyethylene low loss dielectric. This ensures that capacitance is kept to a bare minimum which in turn allows superb detail retrieval
  • Furutech OFC dense braided outer shield in ultra pure OFC. (also treated with the Alpha process)
  • Flexible 9mm OD ultra-flexible PB free pvc jacket, finished in polyester weave protective outer jacket. The large cable diameter further reduces capacitance issues by maximising the distance between signal cores and outer OFC shield, whilst remaining flexible for ease of handling
  • Signal integrity is maintained so that the finest of details and nuances are captured, noise floor is exceptionally low allowing full dynamics and bandwidth.
